Houston Pekingese Rescue
Tiramisu (left) is a small female Peke, approximately 5 years old. This little bundle of energy loves to play, especially with her squeaky toy. A real sweetheart!

Frostbite (right) is a young male Peke with one unusual trait - he's an albino, pink nose, blue eyes, and all! (So he does have to avoid the sun, as he can burn easily.) He's a happy little guy who would love a buddy to play with.

Texas Gulf Coast Bull Terrier Rescue - Red Ronnie looking for a loving, forever home.

Lone Star Boxer Rescue - My name is Rogan, and I'm going to tell you up front that I'm looking for a little love. I'm a handsome guy, and I do try to be happy most of the time, but I'm pretty sad that I have found myself without a family. I also need to tell you that I'm deaf. But that doesn't bother me, so I hope it won't make any difference to you, either. We can still communicate in other ways, especially through hugs and kisses! I'm house trained, and I'm not crazy about being in a crate. I just completed my heartworm treatment, so I'm in good shape!

Second Chance Poms Chief was adopted last year by a family who saw him at the Pet Fest and fell in love.

Second Chance Diogi is looking for a forever home with or without his kitten.

VAP rescues Molly & Ace are mom & son, they are chow/golden retriever mixes w/ some Australian Kelpie on Molly's side. They would feel right at home lounging on your couch! They are both house broken and because we really want these guys to go to a loving home together we are offering a two for one deal. That's twice the love!

As a baby, Max’s owners kept Max in a small cage in their garage and fed him an all meat diet. At the age of three months he developed rickets, becoming so lame that his family brought him to a local vet to be euthanized. The vet called VAP to take him.

Houston Pekingese Rescue
Only two years old, Ling Ling had a hard childhood - but his personality is wonderful. He's a tiny little guy who would love to be a lapdog in a quiet home.

Houston Pekingese Rescue
Mat Chu is our miracle dog. When he came into rescue, he had very little use of his back legs, but acupuncture and chiropractic have brought back their function. He even goes for 20 minute walks now!
